Der Turnierarzt 2007
Dr.
W. Keller, 54411 Hermeskeil
Mein Name ist Dr. Keller, bin 1965 in Saarbrücken geboren, also heute 41 Jahre alt und habe auch dort am Gymnasium mein Abitur gemacht.
Die
berufliche Laufbahn begann ich
dem Medizinstudium an der Universität in Mainz. Als Arzt war ich zuerst am
Bundeswehrzentralkrankenhaus in Koblenz im Rahmen des praktischen Jahres
beschäftigt. Dann kam das AiG (Arzt im Praktikum - ist heute nicht mehr
erforderlich). Es folgte die Anstellung am Krankenhaus in Bendorf und von
dort aus bin ich danach ans Krankenhaus nach Hermeskeil (Hunsrück)
gewechselt, wo ich auch heute noch In der dortigen Klinik bin; jetzt im
vierten Jahr, als Chirurg in
der chirurgischen Abteilung.
Da
ich auch den Notarztschein besitze, bin ich nicht nur als Chirurg sondern
auch als Notarzt im Einsatz.
Das
bedeutet, dass ich beim hiesigen Turnier nicht nur für die Fußballspieler
da bin, sondern wenn nötig, auch für Zuschauer.
Seit
meiner Jugendzeit in Saarbrücken schon spiele ich auch begeistert Fußball.
So auch während des Studiums in Mainz und habe dort zusätzlich weiter
gespielt, bis zur Bezirksliga Rheinhessen.
Während
des Studiums begann ich auch Mannschaften zu trainieren.
Am Anfang mit einer B-Jugend und bin bis heute ununterbrochen auch
noch als Trainer dem Fußball verbunden.
Die Trainerlizenz machte ich während meiner Tätigkeit am
Bundeswehrzentralkrankenhaus in Koblenz und während meiner damaligen Tätigkeit
als Mannschaftsarzt des TuS Koblenz. Auch dort war ich im Jugendbereich als
Trainer tätig und musste „meine“ dortige B-Jugend abgeben als ich
berufsbedingt nach Hermeskeil wechselte.
Dort
als Arzt war ich zunächst als Jugendtrainer in Schweich an der Mosel und
anschließend beim SV Hasborn. Heute noch bin ich als A-Jugend-Trainer in
Hermeskeil bzw. in der JSG Hochwald.
Mit Interesse habe ich in den letzten Jahren schon als Gast und Zuschauer die Spiele um den „WESTERWÄLDER KERAMIK-CUP“ verfolgt. Da ich in meiner Tätigkeit beim TuS Koblenz die hiesige Familie Baldus kennerlernte, weckte dies auch meine Bereitschaft, mich als Turnierarzt bei diesem Superturnier einzubringen.
The
Tournament physician
My
name is Dr. Wolfgang Keller. In 1965 I was born in Saarbrücken,
therefore
40 years old.
In
Saarbrücken I graduated from the secondary school with the final
examination.
My
professional career started with a medical study at the university of
Mainz.
At
first I worked as a physician at the central hospital of armed forces in
Koblenz
for
a practical year. Than I did the “AIG” (kind of “on-the-job-training).
Further
I got an employment at the hospital in Bendorf. I changed to the hospital
in Hermeskeil, where I am still working as a
surgeon in the surgery now for four years.
As
I own a permit for being a “doctor on call” I am also ready for duty
in an emergency.
That
means that I am not only be there for the players but for the audience at
this tournament.
Since
my youth time in Saarbrücken I am playing football enthusiastically.
As
well during my study in Mainz up to the district division of Rhine-Hesse.
While
I was studying I coached teams.
I
started to train youth teams in the B class (about 15 years) and I still
be in training uninterrupted until today.
I
got my trainer licence during my job at the central hospital of armed
forces in Koblenz and my activity as the team physician at the “TUS
Koblenz”.
I
was also trainer for the youngsters at this club and I had to say goodbye
to them as I changed my job and went to Hermeskeil.
As
a physician I also was the trainer for the youngsters in Schweich (at the
River Moselle) at the first, than I was active for the sport-club Hasborn.
Today
I train the youth class A (about
17 years) in Hermeskeil (JSG Hochwald).
In
the pasted years I watched the games of the “ Westerwälder Keramik
Cup” as a spectator with a lot of interest. At my activity in Koblenz I
met the local “Baldus”-family, who had waked my readiness to be the
physician on this super tournament.
