A warm welcome dear guests from far and near  

to the XXIV. international Rhineland-Palatinate Indoor Masters U-17 around the “Westerwälder Keramik Cup 2006”

in Montabaur. I welcome you to this exceptionally fiva-a-side-football-event here in the beautyful holiday resort of Westerwald.

My special welcome goes to all young players from denmark, sweden, austria and germany, also to the trainers, coaches, the fellow parents and fans and to the audience here in Montabaur. Proudly i´m looking on to the competetor-field, which has been very attractive for the last years now. 

This tournament has found an extraordinary highly rated position in german and european youth-football.

Big and traditional clubs are sending their most hopeful and talented youngsters over and over again to this international competition and football-highlight here in Westerwald.

Therefore in the name of the organizer I would very much like to thank the sponsors and promoters for the great support; in the front: workingstore GÖRG X for their repeated sponsoring of the title and Mr. Thomas Huf for being the patron. A “thank you” also to the press-, radio- and TV-representatives for their terrific

reports. 

Lots of thanks go to the referees, the master physican Dr. Keller, the medical service of the german red cross Siershahn, the caretakers of the two gym´s, as well as about 100 voluntary helpers.

Many thanks to the secretary of state from the ministry of the interior and sports of Rhineland-Palatinate Mr. Bruch for the prices of honor. To the district administrator Mr. Weinert for the opportunity of using the two gym´s. To the mayor of Siershahn Mr. Böckling for using the facility of citizens for the VIP welcome and to the local mayor of Wirges Mr. Ortseifen for the presidency of our youth-sponsorship.

They all: the teams, the sponsors and all other institutions and persons contribute an important part to our non-profit association and to the actual function of supporting the youth of sports in our local area.

Youth is the future. It deserves to be supported.
